THE CHAMBER of Commerce, Inc. was established on January 1 , 2010 as a newly merged organization of the Cranberry Area Chamber of Commerce and the Northern Allegheny County Chamber of Commerce. Our membership consists of 1,100 business owners and business representatives. The footprint of THE CHAMBER of Commerce, Inc., extends from Zelienople to the shores of the Allegheny River, Route 8 over into Beaver County. We cover three counties, Allegheny, Beaver and Butler and 16 municipalities. Our membership ranges from sole proprietors to large corporations, non-profits and individuals who are interested in supporting our business community. We have two office locations, Wexford and Cranberry, with a staff of six employees.
THE CHAMBER is one of the largest Chambers of Commerce outside the city of Pittsburgh comprised of nearly 1.100 members working and living in a region with a 2007 median annual household income exceeding $90,000. This is an income level that is 22% greater than the average median income of our three largest competing suburban business corridors. With 2000-2007 population growth of nearly 13%, the region’s high average income and superior professional demographics represents one of the fastest growing and most prosperous regions in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. THE CHAMBER offers abundant opportunities for businesses and professionals of all sizes within the Pittsburgh region.
We offer a variety of business and social networking events, programs, training, legislative and economic development activities, Trade Show, Golf Outing, Food & Wine Classic, Taste of Cranberry, Holiday Benefit Dinner and more. We have added programming such as our Women In Business and Community, Veterans and our Perspectives program on health care reform.
THE CHAMBER of Commerce, Inc. provides many free services to all of its members in the community including: small business counseling from Duquesne University and the University of Pittsburgh, SCORE, and Business Resource Center access in our Wexford location.
